Bowl Games

Interested to see next week. IU played OSU and barely beat them by about an inch. Had the Buckeyes QB kept his knee up, OSU wins that game. Miami beat OSU. And they look just as physical.
But, Miami has gotten pretty banged up.

If Miami is healthy, they could have a chance. The line they beat in the trenches last night is not even close to IU. But the line they played the game before was.

If Miami is not as healthy as they were coming into last night, Hoosiers will wax ‘em. That secondary at IU is not talked about enough. Beck will have to pull the ball down more than last night. Gonna be some blunt force trama.

I like the crew that called tonight’s game. Mac and Mac do great work. I wish it was them on the Natty game.
McElroy was one of my favorites to cover at Southlake Carroll.
For two years, he backed up Chase Daniel and he was always smiling and just happy to be out playing football.
He finally got to start as a senior and led the Dragons to a state title and an undefeated season. That season, he threw 4,636 yards and 56 touchdowns.

He does his homework. That crew has the best in game discussion. Another that is really coming on strong as an analyst is Roddy Jones. Also like Acho. But Greg has really grown in that job. As far as analysis, he’s up there with Trevor Matich.

Hyperbole probably, but I think this is the best-coached team I’ve ever seen. And if I’m an NFL GM with even a slight need at QB I’m doing everything I can to get Mendoza on my team, I think he might be that special. Like Brady-esque special. Every decision, almost every throw, just right on the money. Could not be more impressed.

...and so far what I've seen, he seems like a good dude too.

I completely agree. This surpasses even Burrow’s amazing season at LSU.

Was I supposed to type something here?
Mrs. Brewingfrog and I were watching the game last night, and we kept hearing the Indiana Band playing a particular tune. Both of us were looking at each other, "I know this tune..?" And then, it came to us at the same instant: "FERNANDO!"

Oh, and I would like to thank ESPN for 1.) Broadcasting the game in 4K, and 2.) Keeping the 4K feed free of imbecile and annoying commercials, and 3.) During frequent breaks for said imbecile and annoying commercials, they simply showed a wide-shot of the interior of the stadium and left a mic open. Thus, during halftime, we could actually see and hear the Bands perform! The Oregon Band was danged good, BTW...

Great coach, no doubt, but I couldn't believe he had his terrific quarterback running the ball in the middle of the fourth quarter with a 30 point lead.
