Sure hope I don't have to end up choosing between Notre Dame and Texas in the final. Would be like having to choose if SMU and Baylor both made it.

I’ve come around on ND. I like their coach. And they play old fashioned football.
I just can't with them. . . However I agree on the coach. I've liked him since I saw his backstory the first year he was hired there. Grew up with a military dad waking his boys up at 0:dark30 for PT every morning to start their day, so he understands what it is to grinder your way through any challenge in life.

Heck, it’s like home field for the Bison anyway. I hope they keep that title game on Frisco for as long as they can. They really do a great job with it. And the Bison fans I’ve met over the years are really good folks.
Wish we could have given them 60 degree weather.
So a friend of NDSU stopped by to see me while in town. Got me a Bison sweatshirt. Pretty cool.

agreed. I like Freeman. He wants his kids to behave. And he wants them to play physical. He seems to understand the mentallity of defensive backs. last night was a pretty good birthday present for him. he mentioned how, since his daughter was born on the same date it has usually been her birthday. (smart dad).

I still question whether Notre Dame should have gotten in based on their schedule. But they are the real deal. They have been owning the trenches.

Was thinking the same thing last night. I loathe power schools and always root for the underdog, however I like personalities like their coach. So going into last night, and of the remaining teams, if ND won it all, I would be okay with it. Second would be Texas, but only because they still have a Big XII roster.

man in this modern dating site era, that typo brings out a whole different meaning!
not a typo- but intended in a Rob Lowe kinda way. FWIW, if you've never seen that show, it's pretty hilarious. Rob Lowe, Fred Savage, and Bill Devane. Lowe plays a guy who plays a lawyer on TV in a show called, "The Grinder," then decides that because of his TV Lawyer expertise, he should join up with his bro and his dad in their law firm. Hilarity ensues.
