Bowl Game Tailgating?

I've been away from KF quite a bit lately, so I was curious if there have been any threads about tailgating in Tempe? I'm busy trying to get stuff together to hit the road in the morning, so I figured it would be easier to just start a thread instead of searching the forum. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

Haven't seen anything either. If anyone knows, post info please. Lettermans Association is throwing a party at the W after the pep rally. Everyone can come to that one I'm sure

Ticket Exchange Pass
riggs, our old crew from lot 3 will be out there too, lets pull something together, i think there are spots around the stadium to tailgate, also would think food and beer and tvs would be easy to find out there since its the BW3 bowl, must have a tailgate set up right? frog alley style but with beer and wings

Let me know your plans. I bought parking passes through TCU, and they are in Structure 7. If I need to pay for other spots that are better, oh well. I'm willing to chip in.

Good to know. We're golfing in Scottsdale on Saturday around 11, so I'm not sure what time we'll get to Tempe. We also may check out Mill Ave once we get to Tempe since I heard it has a decent scene. I'll try to keep up with this thread so we can try to coordinate something though.

Our group of 3 is staying at the Aloft tempe about a mile away across a bridge it looks like. we're just buying beer and will be either walking around or will be finding some bars to hit up pregame. if theres a parking lot people will be in please post and we will stop by

think this is basically our plan too, have heard it's a good tailgating set up out there so just cruising around with beer should be fun, will check with my ASU co worker on places to hang out in the lots, I believe there are picnic tables around the perimeter of the stadium, also some up on the mountains surrounding the stadium, but not positive

I think our hotel is a few blocks from the stadium so probably walking around with beer as well.... Or potentially using the "I'm a student and drove out here" card to get free drinks from some older alumni. Actually, probably both.

We have an RV pass but no RV. We just wanted room to throw bags, set up tables, and drink beer. All TCU fans are welcome if you need a place to drink for an hour or two. Look for a coleman tent with a TCU flag hanging from it.

Just wakin up. Partied in Old Town with K State players then hit the giggly room. Be in the lot about 2. Trying to get a tent and chairs. We have 5 Frogs and a bowl rep

Staying at the Marriott off Ash Ave. Been testing all the beer sales and even found a $4 margarita. Still feel the toes and nose so going back out to check out some more places. I see Horned Frogs everywhere. :tongue:


Ooops by the way drove through and stayed in Route 66 Casino Hotel! I paid for the trip first night! $3,400 in winnings! :biggrin:
