Boschini stepping down

WUT?

I thought "Chancellor" was the emeritus position, and that the actual CEO grunt work was done by the "President". No?

So now, is TCU paying millions for each of (1) an Emeritus Chancellor Boschini, (2) a Chancellor Pullin, and (3) a President Someone-else? TCU will have 3 multi-million dollar leaders?

At least 1 of those salaries could go to an NIL fund!

I don't think emeritus gives you anything other than a title.

Didn’t think any of this was a surprise to anyone. (maybe an official date being set is new.)

what I’m curious about is once they do this, do they retain that new President position that was created specifically for Pullian or do that absolve that role and go back to just having the chancellor spot. Typically those million dollar Cush positions don’t go away on their own…

What a great job he did transforming this University. Think back to 2003 and look at the school, the facilities, and the athletics and see how far we have come. Amazing the difference at TCU.
Undergrads:
2003 6,933
2024 11,049
Total all students
2003 8,295 (included Brite)
2024 12,938
Total Investments
2003 $745 million
2024 $2.997 billion
Athletic Conference
2003 CUSA
2024 Big 12

Have a great retirement Dr. Boschini. You deserve it.

"Once Pullin becomes chancellor, the position of president will not be replaced, a TCU spokesperson said."

You need to go back and read the story.
