So, I just saw the coverage map for BSU vs. Nev for 2:30 on Sat and it is everything West of the Mississippi on ABC.

I am on my phone so I can't post the link.

I thought we got 11am because the BSU game was only going to be in Reno and Boise.

Oh well, I guess ESPN thinks that TCU/OU is less important than Boise.

Aren't they on espn3 (basically online only) everywhere east of the river? So the game will really only be available to 25% of the population?

Not sure how you came to the conclusion that ESPN deemed OU-TCU as less important than Nevada-Boise.

If I'm Boise I'd rather be on abc then not at all....I'm sure many will flip to abc on commercials or when the sec game gets boring!

But really????? They are on abc....wow

It could be espn wanted to win the 11:00 block and thought our game was their best hope to win it more so than Boise.

Suicide mission going up against the SEC Championship Game. Now people will watch us at 11, then tune to SEC. Works for me.
Bingo. I prefer later games as well, but fair/not it's largely about getting viewers and ratings on TV. This is the most attractive game to watch from a neutral fan standpoint out of the first set of games on schedule this weekend.

It's Oklahoma for crying out loud. I'm not trying to make them out to be the greatest thing since sliced bread but people here wanted to be at the big boy table, we are playing these teams year in and year out now and we got probably the most consistently best team in the conference over the past 10+ years. We can play them at 5:30am for all I care and I'd still tune in or go to the game if I lived in the Metroplex.

People need to stop their moaning, it's really numbing on here with the "It's never good enough so I'm going to complain about *insert subject name here* every 5 minutes" mindset.

Not sure of the exact details but I read before the season started that even though MWC national games are typically on NBC Sports Network, there was a deal to put a few national broadcasts on the ESPN network as well. Guess ABC qualifies as well. Likely because there aren't many games this weekend.

Good for them - I see no need why this should be bothersome to people.

Also keep in mind that the 11am ESPN slot is a PRIME tv position in cfb. Why? Because it immediately follows ESPN College Gameday and they do live cut-ins the entire show to hype the game.

Nobody will be watching ABC at 3:00, everyone will be watching CBS. Disney is well aware of this, which is why they gave TCU the much better 11:00 ESPN timeslot.

Sometimes I think people on this forum just like the feeling of being disrespected.

Agree. As a fan base, we all need to move past this mindset. It's petty and kinda whiney.
