Who made the decision. to wear those shoes . SD doesnt drop that punt with the correct footwear.

Speaking of footwear, i received a nice pair of Cole Han's for Christmas.

So did I

There's a Cole Haan outlet store off 290 and I got a pair for $39. They're normally like 4x that price. Also got two nice belts there for $20/piece

But seriously, we were slipping all over the place again, WTH?

I abandoned Cole Haan a few years ago because their shoes were getting rediculous. Have they gone back to a more simple but sleek look? I bought a pair back in 05 for about $400 and lasted me a good three years of wearing them nearly every day to the office. A few years ago most of their designs featured an elongated toe which made me stop buying them.

I don't like the over the top Italian designer, rad colors or metrosexual either. I prefer a very traditional looking shoe. I wont pay full price for them either (i know my wife didnt either). J A Banks had a sale for for 40% off which brings them to the price willing to pay. My shoes last a long time. This pair is to replace my 10year old J&M's (I'll still send them off to get refurbished as they are a good looking pair of shoes) Hard to get rid of something that fits like a glove

Crap now i'm sounding like a women.

I won't buy Cole Haans anymore. I kept slipping while watching the Frogs play in bowl games. Wait, did you say they are owned by Nike. That explains it...

I looked at CH's website this morning and they had a few that were decent. It looks like they've gone away from the straight up ghetto shoes they've tried to peddle the last few years. The metro ones are decent but not quite my style. Maybe I'll give them another shot. I just bought a pair of Nikes yesterday after exclusively endorsing New Balance since 2001 so I'm willing to give 2nd chances.

J&M will refurbish shoes? I just had a blowout on a pair barely a year old a couple weeks ago. Terribly disappointed in these. Very poor workmanship.
