Shedeur Sanders, Travis Hunter help Colorado beat Cincinnati 34-23 to become bowl eligible
BOULDER, Colo. — Shedeur Sanders threw a pair of touchdown passes to Travis Hunter and ran for a score to help Colorado become bowl-eligible with a 34-23 win over Cincinnati on Saturday night.Sanders put on quite an efficient aerial show, completing 25 of 30 passes for 323 yards. He completed his first 15 passes, which was the most to start a game in program history. Not bad considering he's getting over the flu.
Hunter had nine catches for 153 yards, including a 34-yard TD grab with three seconds left before halftime. On defense, the two-way star and Heisman hopeful broke up four passes.

Jack Martin’s 43-yard field goal as time expires sends Houston past Utah 17-14
HOUSTON — Jack Martin kicked a 43-yard field goal as time expired and Houston rallied for a 17-14 win over Utah on Saturday night.A.J. Haulcy intercepted a Brandon Rose pass with 1:55 remaining to set up Houston at its own 46. The Cougars then ran it eight straight times to the Utah 25 to set up Martin’s field goal.
It was Houston’s first game-winning field goal since Nov. 7, 2009 at Tulsa.
“That’s a kicker’s dream,” Martin said. “Definitely one of my items I can knock off the bucket list.”

Marchiol throws for 2 TDs, West Virginia scores on 3 fourth downs to beat Arizona 31-26
TUCSON, Ariz. — West Virginia travelled across the country facing a crossroads.Lose at Arizona, the Mountaineers would have to fight just to become bowl eligible. Win and they still have a shot at being in the mix for the Big 12 title.
No reason to be passive with so much on the line so far away from home.
Aggressive from the start, West Virginia scored three times on fourth downs — one on a fake field goal — and held off a late Arizona rally to win on Saturday night.

Baylor beats Oklahoma State 38-28 to end 8-game home Big 12 losing streak
WACO, Texas — Sawyer Robertson had three touchdown passes and ran for another score, helping Baylor end an eight-game home losing streak in Big 12 games with a 38-28 victory over Oklahoma State on Saturday.Robertson and three other players combined for 345 yards rushing a week after the Bears (4-4, 2/3 Big 12) ended an eight-game overall conference losing streak with a blowout of Texas Tech in Lubbock.
The victory, which came on homecoming, was the first in the Big 12 for Baylor at McLane Stadium since a 35-23 win over Kansas on Oct. 22, 2022. The Bears had their first 300-yard rushing game in three years.

Tennant kicks go-ahead 51-yarder, No. 16 K-State stops Kansas on 4th down to preserve 29-27 win
MANHATTAN, Kan. — Avery Johnson threw two touchdown passes and ran for a score, Chris Tennant kicked a 51-yard go-ahead field goal with 1:42 to go and No. 16 Kansas State stopped Kansas on fourth down to preserve a 29-27 victory Saturday night.D.J. Giddens added 102 yards rushing for the Wildcats (7-1, 4-1 Big 12), who kept alive their chances of playing for a conference title and in the College Football Playoff by beating their biggest rival for the 16th consecutive time.
“You know, we missed opportunities. I think they missed opportunities. It was a game of who could make another play,” said Kansas State coach Chris Klieman, who dealt with some dizziness during the game that sent him to the locker room at one point.
“I was proud at the end that offense, defense and special teams came through.”

No. 11 BYU beats UCF 37-24, remains undefeated in Big 12 heading into second off week
ORLANDO — No. 11 BYU quarterback Jake Retzlaff threw for 228 yards and two touchdowns and added another on the ground to lead the Cougars to a 37-24 win over UCF on Saturday to remain undefeated and in the College Football Playoff picture.BYU (8-0, 5-0 Big 12) controlled the clock, holding the ball for nearly 40 minutes. The Cougars used that possession to capitalize on their opportunities to score, especially in a few pressure moments during the game.
BYU scored the first 17 points of the game but broke the game open on a 62-yard touchdown pass from Retzlaff to Chase Roberts with 27 seconds left. The Cougars beat Oklahoma State on Oct. 18 on a late touchdown, and this one gave BYU a 14-point lead heading into halftime.
