SALT LAKE CITY — Jake Retzlaff engineered two fourth quarter scoring drives and Will Ferrin kicked a 44-yard field with four seconds remaining to keep No. 9 BYU’s unbeaten season alive with a 22-21 win over Utah on Saturday night.The Cougars' final drive was extended on a defensive holding penalty on fourth down when the largest crowd in Utah's Rice-Eccles Stadium history (54,383) thought the game was over.
“I was in the end zone, my back in the end zone after going down (on a sack), and it wasn’t a good feeling. But looking up and seeing that flag, we had new life,” Retzlaff said.

Devin Neal sets Kansas career rushing records in 45-36 victory over No. 17 Cyclones
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Devin Neal ran for 116 yards and two scores and became Kansas' all-time leader in rushing yards and rushing touchdowns in a 45-36 win over No. 17 Iowa State at Arrowhead Stadium on Saturday.Neal broke June Henley's rushing record with a 14-yard run on his first carry and now has 3,951. Neal's touchdown runs of 13 and 10 yards gave him 43, breaking Henley's mark of 41.

Sanders, Hunter help No. 21 Colorado overcame early deficit in 41-27 win over Texas Tech
LUBBOCK, Texas — Shedeur Sanders threw two touchdown passes and ran for a score, two-way star Travis Hunter had nine catches for 99 yards and a TD and No. 21 Colorado overcame an early deficit to beat Texas Tech 41-27 on Saturday.Sanders was 30 of 43 for 291 yards. Shilo Sanders, the other son of Buffaloes coach Deion Sanders on the team, recovered a fumble in the end zone with 51 seconds left.
Colorado (7-2, 5-1 Big 12, No. 20 CFP) won its third consecutive game and is on pace to play in the Big 12 Championship Game with a chance to qualify for the 12-team College Football Playoff.

West Virginia forces three key turnovers in 31-24 road win at Cincinnati
CINCINNATI — Nicco Marchiol threw for one touchdown and ran for another and West Virginia’s defense forced Cincinnati quarterback Brendan Sorsby into three turnovers Saturday afternoon, which led to 17 points in the Mountaineers 31-24 win over the Bearcats.It’s the fourth-straight win for the Mountaineers (5-4, 4-2 Big 12 Conference) over the Bearcats (5-4, 3-3), and they denied the Bearcats the opportunity to clinch bowl eligibility.
“We’ve had a couple of tough weeks. We’ve had some drops all bounce the wrong way. Today, it bounced our way,” West Virginia coach Neal Brown said. “We got some breaks today and took advantage.”

Sam Leavitt threw three touchdown passes, two to Jordyn Tyson, and Arizona State held on to beat UCF 35-31 Saturday.In a game that featured five lead changes, the Sun Devils (7-2, 4-2 Big 12) took the lead with 4:55 to play on Leavitt’s 13-yard pass to Tyson.
“It’s an unbelievable connection right now,” Arizona State coach Kenny Dillingham said. “Sam knew they were in cover one on the one scramble. He bought some time and then knew there was a one on one in the corner, launched it, gave him a jump ball and great job by Jordyn going to get it.”
