the key is not what does the conference want, but instead what do the various service providers want to fill shelf space so to speak

the time to create the big 12 network was back in the beginning when you had multiple larger schools with bigger enrollments and fan bases

Except they never showed those games. LH network seems to only show games that UT won. It's almost comical, like they are trying to paint the picture that UT never loses. No wonder their fans think they are the favorite in every game they play, in every sport.

LHN plays the same UTx wins over Oklahoma, going back decades, over and over.

And (Duh!) I can't remember ever noticing a replay of one of their frequent losses to OU.
