Glad to see him - we weren't sure if he could make it.
  • loves Yormark. He loves the coaches in the Big 12 except he does want to be them
  • sold out tickets again
  • he loves God
  • only team to appear on ESPN network every game...
  • he's starting off with a women bc he has respect. He loves her hair. (she does have pretty hair).
  • He trusts God. He never waivers or asks why me. (about his health). He wants to prepare these men for life. He also loves Michael Irvin (he's in the house, wow).
  • Dismissed one guy bc he does NOT want to talk about himself.
  • His wide receivers are replacing some DOGS. But these young men are unbelievable. He's so proud of the recruits and coaches.
  • They brought both QBs bc he doesnt know which one is going to start - (but I swear he said suck not start. )
  • ( OMG - he is NUTS) yelling and excited about Joey McGuire!!!! He got bombarded by tortillas and Joey told them to stop or there would be consequences. He also wants Joey to send him some of their money.
  • Kenny Dillingham and he both entered the Big 12 simultaneously. What he did last season was un-dern-believable. He didn't get jealous. He's happy for him. He's proud of him.
  • His expectations are to WIN and be in the Championship game.
  • Give me my theme music: He says he has to get a feeling for the team - he doesn't know yet. He's old school not an old fool.
  • He loves that his players can call him about getting their hair braided.
  • TCU Question: Playing TCU was the genesis of his coaching career. He loves our coach—he showed love (he never said Sonny's name, but he loves him). He loves Texas, too. It's his home.
  • needs to be a salary cap - it's going crazy. How are guys getting offers when they aren't even in the portal? We need to be up right and upstadning (same these as Sonny)

they said it again during the Coaches round table...all the coaches....(tech was yesterday so maybe, but it also felt like they were talking about another conference, ie Tennessee (SEC). Deion also really harped on it.

I know one thing: Tech should not expect the same treatment as an SEC/Big 10 blue blood. The NCAA could pop them just to make a point and stick it to the Big 12 at the same time.

Tech is still behind UT Austin, Aggie, and even SMU recruiting rankings not sure why everyone's freaking out and overly hating on em over everyone else.

Not to be a contrarian, lol, because I think the freak out is a little overboard too, but when you factor in the portal I think they have the highest ranked class in the conference, and quite a bit better than SMU. At least that's what I've heard, could be mistaken.

I missed it. Also, thanks for posting all of this. It helped as I had to be in meetings all day.

EDIT: never mind. found it on the conf youtube. that was a good panel.
