K-State forced the same # of turnovers (32) and had a lower ppg allowed (21.1 vs. 23.1).

Don't get me wrong, I think TCU's overall defense is better, but the above is how someone could make an argument for KSU.

Kstate also had no injuries the whole year. Lost 2 players and their defense went to [Craig James].

Also for the record TCU averages a lower PPG in regulation.

TCU held teams to fewer yards but KSU had a much better red zone defense. At the end of the day, yards is just a stat..... points go on the scoreboard.

No reason to get all bum hurt over it.

To start the year and midway through, TCU wasn't as good. However KSU at the end melted down after TCU and against OSU. Their defense has zero depth. None

Not saying they suck and to be frank they are a better team because their offense is a lot better. But defensively I'd say they are #2
