You're making fun of Maniac's persona on here, and I'm making fun of yours. You can dish, can you take?

When someone says "epic", they should get made fun of, it's a terrible word.

You just have this unquenchable need to find something to give me crap about because I made fun of your daughter's terribly nerdy performance at orientation, so now you're reaching.

Let it go, man

No. I have a mild interest in pointing out the many, many times you take on the role of lead cool guy. I understand it is important to you, it usually is with guys like you.

I see you as the guy in a group who hurls an insult or 'cool observation', then looks around saying, "Am I right?"

I could be wrong, but I doubt it.

Regarding your overly concerned issues with the entire Orientation staff's purposefully silly rendition of a pop song...well, I'll let the beginning of this sentence speak for itself.

Orientation rendition was awful no doubt. Once of the worse renditions I have seen but there has been worse I'm sure.

As Riggs put it the other day, I'm apparently a glutton for punishment...

Therefore, I also submit this picture for consideration.

However, if you are looking for the best rendition of something, then look no further than Josh Weathers' version of "I Will Always Love You". Rough recording, as he's never recorded a studio version, so try and ignore the people in the audience trying to sing who are terrible:

I had occasion to meet Ron at his tailgate prior to the OU game. I found him to be quite friendly and unassuming. Didn't see any evidence of him trying to be the center of attention. So yes, you could be wrong.

I haven't had the pleasure. I'm sure many, if not most, of us are quite different in person. As I mentioned, I was commenting on 'personas', not persons, because I don't know the man. Only the persona.
