Early in my career (right out of grad school) I commuted from The Woodlands to Dallas. I’d drive up on Monday morning, leaving the house at around 3:00 am. Then stay in a hotel all week, then drive back to The Woodlands Friday night. Did that for a year until my wife graduated then we moved to the metroplex

Given the state of baseball in Waco this year, there’s probably a joke to be made about the correlation between their perfect home record and the 50/50 mix of sweet and dry vermouth in a perfect martini. But I haven’t had coffee yet.
