Wow. Just finished watching the documentary. Very interesting stuff. One thing is obvious. There isn't a more despicable institution than Baylor.

Someone should give that assistant who taped Bliss a job, and give Dave Bliss a few less teeth. He's about as reformed as a jailbird crackhead. His whole Christian "saved" message really stuck in my craw.

I had the same thoughts. After reading every sentence he says, I think to myself "well, that's [ deposit from a bull that looks like Art Briles ]." That's been a pretty spot-on process with him over the years.

AP - (WACO) Baylor officials will be holding a press conference at noon local time to announce they will self-impose a bowl ban for the 2017 and 2018 seasons. This also means Baylor has to forfeit $7.8 million in bowl money from the Big 12, which could have come in handy to pay the two outside law firms the school has retained to shepherd the athletic department through the NCAA investigation.

If true, the bowl ban itself is probably not much of a real issue. They're going to take a serious step backwards this year.

Forfeiting the money is interesting though. Is that forfeiting some portion that the B12 has already withheld, or forfeiting a hypothetical share of bowl proceeds that they would have earned if they would have actually been eligible for 17 and 18?

What I'm looking forward to is forfeiting of wins secured with players that should have been ineligible. The wailing and gnashing of teeth when 61-58 is erased will be epic and glorious. And don't forget the Russell Athletic Bowl.

I don't know if my recording was bad or what but every time Bliss spoke, it looked like his mouth was moving faster than the words/sound coming out of it...like one of those badly dubbed king fu movies.

The more I watch, the more I realized that's just the way he talks. Like his lips and mouth have extra movements or movements not needed at all for the sounds coming out of his mouth. Really weird.
