Be sure to tune in to ESPNU tonight to catch TCU basketball signee Brandon Parrish in action. Arlington Seguin is taking on Kimball High in the matchup and it should be a good game. Tip off is at 6:30pm

In other basketball recruiting news the Frogs have really locked into 6'6 SF Elgin Cook, a JUCO from NW Florida State, but the competition is heating up for his services. As of today Cook holds offers from New Mexico, Washington, TCU, Kansas State, VCU, Oregon and Gonzaga. As I mentioned in another thread though his dad played ball at Arkansas. They are also recruiting him, but have yet to extend an offer.

Nice game for Brandon tonight. I think he had 24 points and about 9 rebounds. A pretty typical day at the office for him. Hit some big threes and free throws in the second half to help seal the deal. Interesting that as talented as he is that they don't look for him more, though Seguin is loaded with good players. That PG, Boulware (SP) probably earned himself a scholly somewhere tonight.

TJ was there along with Coach K and Larry Brown amongst others. Camera was on TJ a few times and the broadcast team did highlight our recruiting class. Good pub for the Frogs.

I think we are very much in the mix for Cook, but we will see what happens if Arkansas offers. He is having a great year so it wouldn't surprise me if he was waiting to see what offers he could pull in before pulling the trigger.

Brandon looked great tonight. Played really well on offense and was really impressive on d for much of the game. It is awesome to finally see one of our own playing in a game like this.
