HC Trent Johnson went to see Northwest Fla. St. forward Elgin Cook. We recently offered Cook who is averaging 15.4 points and 6.5 rebounds per game. He is shooting 62.5% from the floor in only 22 minutes per game. If you were to stretch his play out to 40 minutes, he would average 28 points per game. Arkansas appears to be our main competition for him, as they were in to see him too.
We were also in to see Gulf Coast State's point guard Chad Frazier. Frazier is averaging 15.6 points and 5.1 assists per game. He is shooting 47% from the floor and 40% from 3. He is a bit turnover prone as he is averaging over 3 turnovers per game. Frazier is also being recruited by S. Carolina, Texas A&M, Illinois and Washington.
