First I've heard of this. Hate to say it but needed to happen. The other night I met a player from the 2019 team who thought he was the coolest coach ever. I couldn't help but wonder if having 2 good cops on the same staff was a bad idea. I could see that Sarloss was the perfect complement to Schloss, who was definitely the bad cop. After I met the player I looked back at the 2019 roster and that crew seemed to have so much talent but was not even projected to get a regional bid.

Been sick to my stomach watching all this non TCU baseball this weekend.
Might be right about the two good cops point. Personally I wouldn't want to be the bad cop "assistant coach" to a player's buddy Head Coach.

Will say that we saw Kirk crawl all over Nate Stern from the dugout steps in that last home series. This year may have taught him something.

In the portal

Brady Dallimore
Jack Bell
Nolan Traeger
Trevor Baumler
Tyler Phenow
C.J. Mascaro

Also remember the portal works both ways.
Who knows the new hitting and pitching coaches might convince someone at their formers schools to follow them.

This good cop bad cop formula I had not really considered, but makes a whole lot of sense.

It was obvious Schloss was the guy who kept a tidy ship. Having Saarloos and Mosiello running things is great for the players when you're winning but it's almost as if you're letting the inmates run the asylum, especially when things go off the rails.

Videos like these don't get made for a program with Saarloos running it

So with essentially the entire team in the portal now, why do we even bother keeping Kirk around? This program has become an absolute disaster under him. We need a full scrub from top to bottom.
It doesn't make any sense especially with all the players leaving.

He is the one that willingly brought Mosiello back. Some of us were extremely happy when Ohio State hired him away. His tenure here was already on a downward spiral. We knew what was going to happen when he came back

The Mascaro situation makes you wonder what's going on behind the scenes. We're losing Brunson and Stros so there's 2 starting spots in the outfield up for grabs.

The Johnson County Community College kid Ryan Bradford probably will start in one of those OF spots.

Maybe Mascaro found out after a year that TCU wasn't for him. Possibly he'll go back to play somewhere in Utah.
