TCU will play 27 home games

FORT WORTH –
TCU baseball head coach Kirk Saarloos has announced the 2026 schedule, featuring 27 home games, 22 road games and four contests at a neutral site.

Highlighting the schedule are four games at Globe Life Field and seven contests against teams that participated in the 2025 College World Series. The Frogs will play 23 games against NCAA Tournament participants.

The first four games of the season will take place at Globe Life Field in Arlington as they will take part in the Shriners Children's College Showdown and the Amegy Bank College Baseball Series. The Showdown will feature contests against Vanderbilt (Feb. 13), Arkansas (Feb. 14) and Oklahoma (Feb. 15). A midweek tilt against UT Arlington is set for Feb. 17.

TCU will head west for a quartet of games in California. First up is a three-game series at 2025 CWS participant UCLA (Feb. 20-22). A Monday tilt against Loyola Marymount (Feb. 23) will conclude the Frogs' trip to Los Angeles.

The home schedule gets underway with a season-long eight-game homestand starting with a three game set against New Haven (Feb. 27-March 1). After a midweek contest against Abilene Christian (March 3), TCU will host Tulane for a trio of games (March 6-8). The homestand concludes with a midweek, non-conference contest against Kansas (March 10).

Big 12 play gets underway on the road for TCU. The Frogs will head to Tempe, Ariz. for a series against Arizona State (March 13-15).

TCU will play eight of its next nine games at home starting with a Tuesday game against New Mexico State (March 17). After a three game series against UCF (March 20-22), the Frogs will make a brief trip across the Metroplex for a tilt against DBU (March 24). TCU returns home to host Texas Tech (March 27-29) and Lamar (March 31).

A four-game road trip starts with a three game series at Kansas State (April 3-5) and concludes with a Tuesday contest at Abilene Christian (April 7).

The Frogs will host Arizona (April 10-12) and Tarleton State (April 14) before hitting the road for a three games series at Baylor (April 17-19). After hosting DBU on April 21, the Frogs will welcome Houston for three games (April 24-26). The month concludes with a Wednesday contest at UT Arlington (April 29).

The month of May will see the Frogs play only Big 12 opponents. Road trips to Oklahoma State (May 1-3) and West Virginia (May 14-16) wrap around a home series against Utah (May 8-10).

Bummed we miss the BYU road series this year. We had planned to make that trip this season to see that ballpark in person.

also take note that our first home series opponent is going into their first year as a D1 tracked program and they went just above .500 in their D2 schedule last season. So I wouldn’t expect a lot of pushback that weekend. (If we get it that’s a big red flag for how good our team may really be…)

My Alma mater. 30-45 years ago one of the top D2 teams in the country. Several CWS appearances including a 2nd place in I believe 1980. Steve Bedrosion stopped by for season and threw 186 pitches in a CWS game. Lengendary @ the time. Fell on bad times coaches last 20 or so years. Not sure the timing is great for a D1 move. Should/better be easier than most mid-week games

What do you want? Look at the schedule before the first home series.

Vandy, Arkansas, OU, UTA at Globe Life then at UCLA and at LMU.

Every series can't be a tough one.

Coming out of North Haven, Quinnipiac was my fall back school. Glad TCU gave me an invite to come on down!
