Who are the baseball recruiting guru’s? Anyone familiar with 2 way player at Keller going to Tenn, Cole Koeninger? Looks like he pitched a gem yesterday against Rockwall in a must win game.
Was there any interest from TCU? I was at Argyle/Lovejoy game, I guess Argyle likes to get stomped in game #2 of these 3 game series, then stage big comebacks in the 3rd game. First time in Rough Rider facility, great venue!

Only 32% of TCU baseball roster is from TX. Am i the only old head that sees that as a potential issue?. I feel like kids thrive closer to home. Of course, if they're juniors or seniors then that may be easier to be away from home. Texas is a national brand and theirs is 47% from Texas.

You're not wrong, but remember this: every little kid in Texas at some point dreams of being a Longhorn. Sadly, the ones that don't dream of being an Aggie. May be tough to admit, but it's true.

We are basically the Texas Longhorns of college baseball. We have the best recruits but can't win the conference.

We must not be willing to buy out Kirk’s contract at this point. The guy can recruit as good as anyone else in the country. But what good is all of that if we’re not developing the talent that we get.

Cole is a stud. Seen him pitch a few times over the years. I suspect he never gets to campus tho as he’s gonna go high in the draft. I don’t know if Tenn is gonna throw enough coin at him to keep the MLB away.

we do have his Stix National teammate, LHP Travis Sample coming on campus in a month. He’s got a shot to be Lodolo 2.0 for us.

My grandson has been in Stix org for several years.

I would question his “skills” in recruiting HS/TP for pitching the last couple of years.

Keller's coach, Rob Stramp, was my high school coach the first 2 years. We had some dads who thought that putting in a sprinkler system and contributing to capital improvements earned their kids some playing time. Coach Stramp wasn't going for it and he got pushed out. He was a really good coach, a good man and I enjoyed his history class. Hoping he can ride into the sunset on a high nite next Saturday.
