TCU celebrates following Matt Curry's two-run walk-off home run Saturday.
I gave my across-the-street neighbor and two of his buddies (also my neighbors, but further down the street) my season tickets because they can go to the games whenever they want (retired) and I can't (working, raising a family, soccer, etc.).
I happened to be out in the front yard when they came home tonight and they were whoopin' and hollerin' -- "We won 9-8!" -- and that made whatever expense I incurred worth it.

I gave my tickets for this game to one my employees (on a 3-game homestand I usually pick out the one game I can make and give the other two to office staff). Have tickets for tomorrow but today it was such a great day for baseball, the mrs. and I decided to go. Good move on our part. Great game.

I really didn't intend to eavesdrop, but I overheard bits and pieces of a story in which the main character seemed to be a guy named "Shack". Just put 2 and 2 together. That's how I knew your handle before you introduced yourself.
