Still a slap in the face. Was realy counting on him being a leader next year.
The rumor he had been considering this has been around since around the BIG 12 tournament

Give me a cattle prod and I'd be happy to.If we got a Bid to both NIT and NCAA next year, TCU would accept NIT! By golly pip pip doodly do! Our brother and savior Dixon has returned for another chance to get us back to the promised land in MSG! Shove a cattle prod in my ass!
Hush nowGive me a cattle prod and I'd be happy to.
Well... something tells me this kid is in denial and I dont wanna sound mean
Yeah but ...the odds. I mean, announcing this , imo is bad taste. He has no knees. The bottom line is so many of these guys have lived on basketball and basketball alone basically their whole life, and that’s really all they care about. So if they have no interest in going to school, might as well turn pro. That’s the mindset. College just gets in the way of what they want to do. It’s sad.
Think he’s referring to his perpetual knee issues. The bottom line is so many of these guys have lived on basketball and basketball alone basically their whole life, and that’s really all they care about. I reluctantly let college get in the way of me turning pro at minimum wage
Think he’s referring to his perpetual knee issues.
EDIT he confirmed it
Tough to give up on a dream. What about that is hard to understand? Not sure I understand that logic. If you have perpetual knee issues, I would think the last thing you should be focusing on is an NBA career.
I don't blame the kids. I hope they succeed.
There are a lot of wonderful places to play basketball for a pretty decent amount of money. Kouat may need to, as some here have hinted. Fish may want to, simply because - given his injury history - it might be a good idea to take the lots of dollars or euros somebody wants to give him to play hoop right now. But no matter what their motivation, I don't blame someone for choosing to earn a good living.
