Lake Travis football coach Hank Carter calls his star defensive ends Carter Buck and Ben Duncum “cut-ups.”
It’s a description that has nothing to do with the duo’s prowess on the field.
While Buck and Duncum, who just signed Power Four scholarships Wednesday with TCU and Kentucky, form the basis of a Cavs defense that has dominated all season, they’re almost known as much around the Lake Travis program for their jovial attitudes and jokes.
