Kirk Bohls, Commentary

Finally, the music stopped.

And surprisingly there were still enough chairs to go around for everybody to find a seat. And a future dance partner.

For now.

...

Next time, T. Boone, tell us how you really feel. Oh, and even though no one has suggested the Big 12 should expand and try to grab a Utah or a TCU, Pickens said the Horned Frogs can't even fill their small stadium, but added he'd consider TCU if the league does want to expand. ...

Money does beget arrogance.

Noticed he didn't mention TCU is four times better than Okie Lite. And I say that humbly.

T Boone is making the Missouri governor's point.

also, the stadium stuff is the biggest crock as far an argument goes. It's a very surface argument. There are too many variables involved to just plainly state "they can't fill their stadium, so they must not care."

Well, it's 45,000 people. We have a living alumni base of 35,000 (plus or minus). So we have to have 10,000 more people show up on top of EVERY ALUMNUS ... and that would be to assume that every almunus makes it to the game (which we know is false).

We haven't done a good job of marketing that much I can give them. But when you're opponents (like new mexico and UNLV) only bring 50 people ... you need a little help.

We'd sell out if Texas, A&M and Tech were coming through. I had a friend trying to argue against that ... saying that Baylor doesn't fill their stadium ... I told him you can't compare the two. One team sucks.

We've been close to capacity for BYU, Utah and Air force games.

T Boone needs to put his money where his mouth is - It will shut him up and he won't sound so stupid.

I bet Missouri is thrilled to still be part of this "Big 12"! They weren't happy with the split of the pie before & now Texas is grabbing an even larger share of the pie with an eye out for even more. This is going to be fun to watch.
