Sickens me that none of the TCU defenses over the past 15 years do not make the Top 10, though 2012 and 2000 got honorable mentions.

Even then, I still think our best defense was the 2009 unit, with the all the current NFL talent in the starting rotation and only allowing one team to score more than 20 points(Utah), but they only got over 20 in garbage time. Held CJ Spiller and Clemson to 10, Max Hall and Dennis Pitta to 7, and Kellen Moore and Boise State to 17.

The 08 defense was death vs the run, something like 35 ypg allowed. Of course, GP has greatly changed his defense since then, with a much greater emphasis on DBs and almost eliminating the blitz which was so common that season.

Get the LBs in order, continued improvement by White and Hackett and the defense will be a top 5 defense.

You know Athlon will never give much rep for the Frogs. From '08-10 was some of the best and most fun to watch defenses ever.
