Just heard on ESPN that they made him a 5 year, $57 million contract. Did I hear that right?? Anyone else see that?
We better hope he doesn't go...cuz LSU would be in GPs livingroom in 2 hours..and GP would be G-O-N........
He wouldn't leave for Arkansas, he wouldn't leave for UT (either) and he wouldn't leave for LSU. Give all the reasons, but he won't leave. He'll retire here.He must have a buddy at Arkie that he's using to leverage LSU....cuz ain't no way he's goin to Arkie.

LSU is one of the 5 best jobs in the country...and if it came open...it would HANDS down be the best one.
Michigan state? Want to play 3rd fiddle to Ohio state and Michigan with half the facilities?I think there are ten truly "best" HC jobs--but with unlimited resources and giant fanbases come extraordinary expectations. All these are also incredibly difficult jobs------Texas, Alabama, LSU, Michigan, Ohio State, Nebraska, USC, Notre Dame, Florida, Oklahoma.
There are good arguments for Stanford, Oregon, Tennessee, Auburn, Michigan State, Clemson, Georgia, and South Carolina to be on the list. TCU isn't there, but if CGP has extensive success at TCU in the Big 12 it could.
