This report is just regurgitating old unsubstantiated news/rumors that came out last week from a Sic 'em 365 Podcast, talking about a report from the previous week from the same Arizona sports website columnist! Not only is it old, old news, but it's not even necessarily true! All these college sports websites, both digital and YouTube, seem to have this incestuous relationship where one "columnist" or vlogger will put out an article about rumors they've heard or what they think someone else is thinking, then there will be a handful of additional articles from other such columnists, hungry for content, that will report that such and such is being reported.

This will result in a third round of reporting that there are now multiple reports of the same unsubstantiated and unverified rumor, all from the same original source. All these reports start out the very same way. "There are now reports coming out of [fill-in-the-blank]"

It will continue on like that until all these lazy writers have gotten an article of reports of a report of a report of a rumor out of it, all of whom don't bother verifying the basic facts or even bother getting a statement for the record (not a one!) from the original party involved. They just all report that there are "reports". With so many "reports" out there, it becomes sort of a self-fulfilling prophecy of a rumor.

This is an Internet forum board, dude. Its existence is somewhat owed to speculation.

So if it turns out to be right , you’ll come here are admit you rushed to judgment?

Sounds like you're on it Nick Danger ... my personal feeling too!

Though I do wonder, are we interested in UA for anything more than a crack in the ice, for the 4 corners schools.

Yes, that seems like all Heartland ever does. Regurgitate someone else’s week old product and put a sensationalistic headline on it.

So you're saying for sure it's happening, then?
