Are you upset about the US getting screwed in the World Cup?

If you've enjoyed this tournament then I'm afraid you may be a fan for life. The quality of the games so far has been almost uniformly poor. The US-Slovenia game was surely the most entertaining one. I don't even have a guess as to which has been the best-played game. Just wait until the Round of 16...

Agreed on all accounts. Whatever you do, don't start watching the English Premiere League after the WC is over. That stuff is like crack to people that love the game.

I have warmed up to soccer over the last few years and actually enjoy watching it more than baseball. Baseball has way too much time when absolutely nothing is going on. Way too much standing around. Maybe as I'v gotten older I can't pay attention to anything unless there's movement...

Ritalin might help!

No, the reason is because it was over so early in the day. As soon as baseball scores started rolling in, it was 4th story at best.

If it would've happened during the Taxes Saves the World melodrama, it might have gotten bumped to after the commercial break.

Soccer is as boring as watching men jog around a huge field, apparently for little reason.

No, no it wasn't. Front page of the New York Times. FRONT PAGE. Yep, no one cares. Statements like this make you seem ignorant. Perhaps you are.

Gayest post I ever read.
And quit whining about the refs (even though U.S. got screwed)
FD, WC is all right. Really. But it doesn't even compare to college football. Not in the least. And don't give me the once every 4 years crap. Just compare the sport to the sport.
Were you born in this country?

PS: Am I still ahead of gdu on your "hate meter?"

I'd watch a US World Cup game over any other sporting event outside of TCU playing in the BCS title game. World Cup vs Super Bowl, World Cup vs March Madness, World Cup vs World Series........none of them are even close. And I was born is Massachusetts, not sure if that qualifies as part of this country anymore.

I thank my parents on a daily basis for getting me out of there. Beautiful place really, but every time I hear the word "Massachusetts" I think about John Kerry and then I want to kick somebody in the neck.

I'm frustrated by the call but the US has got to forget it and win against Algeria.

The WC and EPL are definitely addictive.

In light of people being more ecologically friendly nowadays, a brand new technology has been developed and should be hitting the market soon. A business right outside of College Station has been able to produce fence posts using nothing but cow manure. After reading the patent license, I found out that the lengthy process in which to save on wood products actually uses 2314 machines, each with their own duty, and the last machine delivers the final product.

Moral of the story: 2314 is constantly spitting out crap posts.
