Not too surprising. We've been iffy this year and our O didn't show much Thursday. If the O ad showed more I think we might have cracked it.

If we beat OU we crack the top 25. If we don't beat OU it doesn't matter much if we cracked it this week or not as we would be right back out.

my question; we've been in big 12 about 20 minutes and have had extraordinary personnel problems

What the Heck?.....titans of big 12 are not even in top 10

what have they been doing all these years?????????????????????

The SEC is a racket. Oregon loses in overtime to Stanford so they're only #6 and have three one loss SEC teams in front of them. Oklahoma loses to Kansas State and Notre Dame so they have three two loss SEC teams in front of them. The basic rule seems to be, if you're SEC you rise to the top of the group with the same number of losses as you. After South Carolina, there's no SEC team ranked because the drop in talent is so dramatic. So, the top of the conference beats up on their weak sisters all season, play out of conference games against teams like Jacksonville State and Wofford, play each other twice, and get one or two losses. They then rise in the polls to the top layer their losses allow.

No complaints. OU is the deciding game now whether we were in this week or not.

The top 25 is really loaded this year. Lot of parity.

No complaints either, especially if you compare it to our previous conferences.

We wouldn't even sniff any votes with a 7-4 record in the Moutain West. And, we are one of the highest teams in the polls/receiving votes with that many losses.

No gripes about trying to get past the non-AQ teams that are higher ranked. The WAC and MAC are very top-heavy this year, kudos to those schools for winning most of their games and being where they are.

Uhhh we wouldn't be 7-4 in the MWC. We most likely would be undefeated.

I can't understand where Boise is ranked Period.....in either poll, crazy that they are 15 in coaches, wow.....

As far as the polls are concerned, the win over UT didn't mean much....

Finally, to see Kent st & Utah st ranked is somewhat of a rarity, that contributed to pushing the frogs out....

Course, all I can say is that we're on National tv again this coming Saturday....and will be playing in a lot better bowl than a lot of those teams!

And for a lot more money...that is, if that counts for anything.
