BrewingFrog, you are the most cynical man on here. I am a curmudgeon too, but no one on here like you; you are 95% negative and most of that is cynicism which isn’t accurate. You along with others crabbing about the refs harms attendance and the energy of mediocre fans, because some may actually believe it is all crooked, sheesh. Stop it; you harm the game at TCU; and TCU buckets obviously needs attendance help. All the cynicism just shows how bad our basketball fans are here, buckets not a priority at TCU; it’s a reflection of that and you.
Yeah, if the fix is in explain how Indiana lost to Northwestern. Kentucky hasn't made the semi's in the SEC tournament much in recent history, so explain that if it's all about money.

BrewingFrog is a clown who thinks every time a call goes against TCU the fix was in. His glasses are so tinged with purple that he's essentially blind.

The officiating in college basketball is the worst of any sport. You just have to almost accept it, but it sucks. Takes away a lot of the enjoyment to be honest.

They make so many calls on anticipation. Like if Peterson goes to the basket in traffic the whistle almost automatically blows. Makes it pretty much impossible to stop him.

And then you have guys get it in the post that just back in and root out the guy that is trying to guard him, who clearly has position. Almost never called an offensive foul unless it's an egregious lowering of the shoulder or something, but if he goes up to shoot and gets grazed on the arm it's a foul.
We'll see much better in the tournament. The Kansas bias in the Big 12 is real, especially due to the tournament being played in Kansas and desire for them to be the conference bell cow.

The Kansas ref bias in the Big 12 is real and even the Jayhawks in my family agree with me. It is also the reason why the Jayhawks have struggled so much recently in the NCAAs. They don't know how to deal with straight officiating in the NCAAs.

Sure, the Jayhawks won the title in 2021, but that was the only time they advanced past the first weekend since 2017. They lost to Gonzaga, Arkansas twice, USC and Auburn because the refs are not going to screw another blue blood. They will not call travelling on an opposing Guard after the KU Center knocked him down on the floor. (That travelling call on Pierre was the worst call I have seen in a long, long long time.)It sealed the KU win.)

Do you think the Jayhawks are going to be +17 FTs against any SEC, ACC or Big 10 team? Of course not. It would not surprise me if KU gets beat early this year, too. When two blue bloods play each other, the refs will call it straight and KU and Self will lose again.

Tough game but we gave ourselves a chance to win. Tough D by KU and some questionable calls were against us. Good to see Punch, Edmonds and LT play well. Need Toolson to get more consistent but this team can play with anyone.

I've moved on and ready / excited for the tourney. We've got a good team and super proud of them. Bilas just acknowledged it on the KU v UH broadcast.

But the refs did suck last night and the discrepancy in fouls was a key ingredient to the loss....
