Kansas is notorious for shrugging off the Big 12 tournament. Hopefully they will again tonight, plus we owe them for that meltdown. A win tonight should get us out of the dreaded 8/9 range.

I just don't get the allure of KC for this tourney. DFW would be a much better draw for all fans (minus KU - even though they would travel really well to DFW). If the intent is to make more $, then get out of KC. And everyone else might get a better shake with the refs as it wouldn't be a de facto KU home game.

If they moved the tournament to Dickies arena, would it be a home game for the Frogs?

That is because you root for a Texas team. The roots of the Big 12 are in the Big 8. And the roots of the Big 8 are the basketball tournament in KC. My dad worked for Phillips 66 for over half a century and they sponsored the Big 8 Tourney for decades. We used to go every year with over 100 fans from our small town in Oklahoma with every school represented. Fun, fun memories.

Football should be at Jerry Word. Basketball should be in KC. Ask an ISU fan or a KSU, KU or OSU or even a CU fan. It is tradition and it should stay in KC. KU may have a home-court advantage, but they do not have a strong history of winning the tournament there. Iowa State has won the tourney more than KU has the last decade.

Sorry, but everything does not need to be in Texas. It is not like it is hard to get to KC any way.

Over/under on how many times they talk about us losing the 15 pt lead in the Kansas game back in January.

I'm going with 5 times.

Pretty sure I've heard it even more than that already and the game hasn't even started yet. They were already talking about it late in the game yesterday.

They were just talking about how well Iowa State fans show up during the Big 12 tournament. They said tomorrow's game against Arizona will be like an Iowa State home game. Said Cyclone fans travel better than Kansas fans.

I hope Posey has to come in and hits the game-winning shot.
No. I can do without the game coming down to the last shot. Let's kick their ass from start to finish. Posey can play and have a career game but I hope it's not a game that goes down to the wire.
