AP Final Rankings

Dude, look in the mirror and pull the Rudy vhs out of the player.

And yes, BYU beat a 9 win ACC team in the post season. that's more than you can say for ND ... who went chickshit and didn't play the post season.
A 9-win ACC that lost to Pitt by 14 points. Impressive! ND beat them by 22.

ND has about 10 guys getting ready for the draft, they had nothing to really prove, moving on with life. But in a game that mattered they'd have been about 2TD favorites over your beloved Cougars. Heck, they would have been favorites over every team in the playoffs except IU and OSU.

But that win over Ga Tech in come from behind fashion was impressive.

Notre Dame would’ve been a 13 point favorite over BYU. Hell they’d have been a 5 point favorite over Tech who pantsed BYU twice. Are y’all really arguing over which team was better?
ND had a freshman starting the first game of his career against Miami in the season opener and lost by a FG. In the kid's second start, they lost by one point (on literally the last play I think ) to another playoff team. Then they steamrolled everyone else on their schedule.

Again, replace ND with TCU and everyone here is singing such an entirely different tune as to the quality of TCU that it would be comical. It's a damn shame we can't live out those scenarios, it would be hilarious to see the 180 degree pivots.

ND sucks the crust off a dead midget's balls.
They had a chance to prove themselves against BYU in a bowl game and they went full tampon rudy.
Hiding to pad their stats. Making some special deal that they get in when others who could be ranked a spot higher can't.
Midwest values, my ass.
I just wanna know how you garnered that info about dead midgets and their balls. . . On second thought let’s let that one just be your little secret.

Well, we also beat #20 USC...
Right. So three of USC’s losses were to ranked teams. One of ours was, and by 29 points at that.

Going by this “indefensible” ranking, USC has to be ranked ahead of Iowa because they have the same record and USC beat them. Where does that put us in relation to Iowa? Let’s compare those resumes I guess. Do you think we should be ahead of Iowa?

I am not making any statement about the rankings. I'm just pointing out that you excluded a very relevant result.

Well, my fault, but I was focusing on the other results because we obviously know that TCU won’that game.

But as I pointed out with the an Iowa - USC situation, if certain things are “indefensible” you’re gonna have some totally nonsensical rankings.

Tell me why anyone cares about an end of year survey after a playoff?

Can you imagine if they ranked pro teams after the playoff and super bowl?

It's over...go home.
