This is getting depressing. We have to change something up. I have never seen a team lose more games like this. For a guy to be shaky all his career at catching punts and have him fielding that punt at that moment in the game is just stupid! You don't need a guy to make a play right there!!! It cost us. And he is a senior!

I feel the same way Smooth but what is going to change next year is a much more mature football team hopefully with our #1 QB back. Btw, thanks Tre, you did well this year in a bad situation and played with heart and guts. You played a big role in this not being a disaster season.

No kidding. All of the TB hate on this board pisses me off. He definitely struggled some, but for a freshman to come in against some of the competition he faced and lead us to a bowl in our first year in the Big 12 was impressive. I was nervous when he was in there, but mostly because I wondered what the hell we would do if he got hurt...

Patterson's defense and calls failed to stop a poor offensive team led by a RS-F quarterback when it mattered most.

Lets not blame this loss on the D, they held a team to 10 points.

This was just one if those years, guys.... Frustrating as hell, but will improve next season

Blasphemer!

Get with the rest of the lynch mob and blame OUR RS-F! He's maxed out and will never improve.

Every loss we had we lost the turnover battle except Oklahoma. Turnovers killed us all year long!!! Surprisingly, a lot were upper classmen who had em.

Don't "hate'' anyone associated with TCU in any way, form,or fashion.Athletics or Academics. That being said,I am not blind either.Boykin has major flaws/liabilities as a College level QB that cannot be ignored or glossed over.He regressed yesterday in a major way.If TCU has aspirations of competing in the Big 12,much less winning it,this level of play will not do.
I love his heart and his toughness, Yes he was thrust into an unfavorable position totally out of his control. Calling for a change at QB next season, whether it be Pachall or Mathews is not"hating" on Boykin. It is being totally realistic of the situation we're faced with IMO.
