Others here were saying he looked like he was headed to Baylor. Why any defensive player would head there is beyond me, but that's what I've seen in other threads.

Lots of folks across the various TCU sites seem to think he is a Baylor lock.

Guess he can't wait to be part of that flaccid formidable Baylor defense.

The only reason I can think that Baylor would be appealing is due to the fact that a freshman can start immediately. They can't do any worse with what they have even with the slight improvement over the last couple of games.

This.

I can't even come close to understanding how Baylor can recruit guys to Waco.

What is their sales pitch over TCU or anyone else? It just doesn't make sense.

I just don't understand why a highly rated defensive recruit would want to go there. Offense I can see, since Briles system is a high-scoring, high-flash one for players to run. On defense though, Baylor just gave up 39 points per game this season.

Twice this season Baylor put up 50 points or more and still lost the game. That's a tough way to live, at least for me. But then again I'm not being recruited.

He is also from Waco, and could just be a kid that wants to stay close to home.

Not a lot you can do if that's what the kid wants.

Hoping we start landing more elite recruits that want to stay in DFW. Working for basketball already for the 2013 class, hoping to see the same for the 2014 football class.

Any kid from Waco these days I wouldn't put much stock into what he commits to. Waco is a trash hole and everyone on here knows this. If it wasn't for Hewitt/Woodway that whole town would be crime ridden.

I don't have any ties to Waco but getting on a board like this & trashing it doesn't make us look like very good fans. Recruits look at sites like these & I wish we'd consider that especially when the town you're trashing might just be where they are from. Not endearing nor persuasive, imo. If you absolutely must bash a town, could u possibly stick with Lubbock?
