Steve Prohm is not happy. Which, oddly enough, makes him hopeful.
His Iowa State men’s basketball team is ranked 19th in the country and is set for a top-half Big 12 finish, but the fourth-year ISU coach is, well, he’s peeved.
That’s what happens when you give up 18 offensive rebounds and lose your third game at Hilton Coliseum in a season, like what happened in the Cyclones’ loss to Baylor on Tuesday.
“I’m ticked off right now,” Prohm said Thursday, “but we play better when I’m like this. We’ll be ready to roll.”
