Funny how everyone wishes a HOF player (pick one) good luck at another venue at the end of his career, and then welcomes them back with open arms to the Ring of Honor, or whatever, but wishes nothing but misery to a HOF coach that has earned the same amount of respect.

This just isn't true at all. There are plenty of fans who despise players that move on and also plenty of fans who hold no ill will toward coaches. Lots and lots of people on either side of those particular fences.

You guys are hilarious- dozens of former head coaches have taken analyst and sometimes even coordinator positions at new schools in the last decade

Saban is the king of using their experience for the benefit of both
But somehow GP doing it doesn’t sit right with some of you? We fired him and he is a lot younger than many HCs still working

Exactly. I can wish Gary all the best EXCEPT professionally while he is working for certain schools that I root against.
