...needs to be evaluated. What was with the wet soil. Every 3rd step was a slip for us. The field was tearing up way too easily. Does anyone else have a problem with this? We are a fast team. We should have a dry field on game days.

Radio guys said they put a mesh cover on the field during the week due to freezing temps so the field wouldn't freeze. Perhaps the big change in temps had something to do with slippage.

Everything was sopping wet with dew yesterday morning, not just the Amon Carter field.

I understand dew, but, they had to of watered it this week with how moist it looked. Their whole job is to keep the field in playing condition thru all of the weather, and they did not prevail. Everyone knew what last week was going to be like, and it seemed to me like they watered on the same schedule.

Loved the purple lettering - looked great on tv. But wish they could have gotten rid of the breast cancer ribbon residue. Looked really tacky. A minor point, I grant you, but it bugged me.

Quilter I agree I guess that proves their point of NO purple end zones. Paint definetly killed the grass

Purple lettering looked great and I hope it stays.
