It didn’t matter. Arthur Blank said he would have affordable options. Had those same prices during the super bowl and everyone was amazed. Artie B is a way better owner than Jerry.
Agreed. The best part is that making them affordable increases volume and makes profits equal, so it's also a good business decision.

Baylor is Trash.
I like this concept and didn't think there was a way to screw it up once they introduced it a few years ago, but holy crap it was bad last year.
I actually liked the video. The problem, I thought, was that it was out of place for what they were trying to do. In that context it was awful. TCU hates its fans.

Yes, this was my feeling. It had cool aspects but contextually just didn't work.

Let me rephrase that if you don’t mind.

To sell twice the amount of concessions at a lower price for the same profit as selling half the amount of concessions at a higher price would initially not make sense from a business perspective. This would be true if TCU was in the concessions business.

Since TCU’s objective is to fill the seats at their sporting events, it is a wise business plan to use reduced price concessions and specials to attract new casual fans and encourage them to come back to future games. Plus, it is a gesture of goodwill towards diehard fans that would be at the games no matter what.

So, yes, I agree that reduced priced concessions and specials is a sound business plan in growing and maintaining one’s fan base for sporting events.

Honestly, though, this is just another in a long train of abuses against the average TCU fan. If ADJD really cared about us getting home safely he'd pay for our Uber's to and from the game. What else is he going to do with all that TV money? The safest thing to do is just stay home and watch on TV. I can't drive drunk from the living room to the bedroom. That way I can contribute to the TV ratings and help the program generate more revenue plus I won't cost them a $10 Pepsi at the game.
