Kazadi haters don't watch because he is outstanding
I like Kazadi. I do not think we have '22 beat Michigan if it were not for his efforts.
Take a look at our "Human Performance" staffers. I think most of them are stellar. While all of them talk details, I believe some of them are naively unaware of what determines success in the DL/OL.
Rev Simmons seems like a very likeable guy. Simmons states "The thing we do is run the ball and stop the run" We really didn't do that the last couple of years. If you take a look at some of the most successful Defensive lineman/ Offensive LM over the last 30 years, there is a common denominator. Core Strength and hand fighters. If you look at some of the best DL in NFL over the last 30 years, John Randle, Aaron donald, Ed Oliver that averaged 6'1" 280 lbs, they all had superior core strength and could give Tyson a challenge in his prime.
What i'm advocating for is for these human performance folks to inject martial arts hand/arm training and get these kids off their big mac bellies. It hardly matters if you can squat 650 and bench 425 if you don't have the stomach and abdominals to through people around.
