I don't remember the publication, but Olajuwon in the '95 playoff run was ranked #1 of all time. I think Jordan had about three or four appearances in the top 10 though.

And yes, give me Texas over Chicawgo. And yes, Chicawgo is the only thing in Illinois.

Pretty sweet list, but as anyone else that has lived in the Austin area in the past decade or so would know, Barton Springs is never that as chill as the water that flows through it. Maybe if you go on a day off during the work week it's pretty empty, but trying to go on a hot summer day is just a [Craig James] show. Still a nice place to chill, but way more busy than the pictures in the article would lead you to believe.

First thing I noticed. How can you list 50 great things about Texas and bbq is not in the top 10?

They could have done a better job on the Texas blues entry also as they ignored some very big names in blues from Texas including Freddie King, Lightnin Hopkins, T-bone Walker, Albert Collins, Stevie Ray and more.

And to claim that Texas has the prettiest women and then they have to include such low hanging fruit as Anna Nichole Smith in their little list of four does not make a strong case for Texas having the prettiest women.

I lived in Denver for a year, it was very cool. I could see myself living there

Didn't have the spirit or range that Texas has, and certainly wouldn't choose it over Texas
