Turnovers free throws doom Horned Frogs in 83-74 loss to Vanderbilt​

FORT WORTH — Turnovers, fouls and free throws doomed the Horned Frogs as TCU fell to Vanderbilt at Dickies Arena on Sunday morning, 83-74.

North Texas transfer Jason Edwards scored 30 points off the bench for the Commodores to lead all scorers, while the Frogs had four players finish with 11 points.

The Horned Frogs shot well from the floor, making 49% of their shots and 58.8% of their 3-pointers, but 24 fouls, 18 turnovers and 12 missed free throws ultimately doomed TCU.

We really do seem to have some sort of poor free throw shooting plague here for going on near twenty years it seems. It’s mind-boggling.
