Trio of Horned Frogs drafted on Day 3 of 2024 MLB Draft

Multiple Horned Frogs heard their names called on day three of the 2024 MLB Draft, joining Payton Tolle as this year's pro Frogs draft class.
Zach Cawyer was the first Frog off the board, going to Kansas City in the 11th round with the 317th overall pick.
Cawyer earned an All-Big 12 Honorable Mention this past season, his first with the Horned Frogs. The McLennan transfer posted a 5.20 ERA with 39 strikeouts in 36.1 innings pitched. Cawyer finished the season with a 6-2 record, often finding himself in high-leverage, late-game situations. He posted 17 scoreless appearances on the year.
