TCU's Jeremy Payne, offensive line bring home Big 12 Weekly honors

TCU running back Jeremy Payne has been named the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week for his career day in the Frogs' 45-23 win over Cincinnati.
The sophomore out of Fort Bend Hightower rushed for a career-high 174 yards and two touchdowns on 26 carries against the Bearcats. It was the most rushing yards for a Frog running back since Kendre Miller rushed for 185 against Texas Tech in 2021.
Payne also recorded a 44-yard reception in the win. His 218 yards from scrimmage were the most by a TCU running back since 2003 when Robert Merrill totaled 231 yards against Houston.
