TCU Wins Close Friday Night Battle vs. Arizona State, 5-4

TEMPE, AZ – Colton Griffin delivered the go-ahead single, then threw out the game-tying run at home plate to end the game, as the Horned Frogs beat Arizona State 5-4 on Friday night.
The game felt like a heavyweight battle between TCU and Arizona State, with Griffin coming off the bench to deliver two of the biggest moments in the win. Griffin came up in the eighth inning with two outs and the bases loaded, delivering a first-pitch sinker into left field to score two runs and put TCU ahead 5-3.
