TCU signs defensive coordinator Andy Avalos to 3year contract extension

TCU has signed defensive coordinator Andy Avalos to an extension, HornedFrogBlitz has confirmed. Terms and length of the extension were not disclosed. Avalos has been the defensive coordinator for the Frogs the past two seasons.
"My family and I are just grateful to be a part of this university and thankful for the leadership here from our AD and head coach," Avalos said. "The direction we're going with this program and getting to be around these players every single day and this university just means a lot to us. We're grateful for the opportunity to be here for the time to come in the future and help build this thing and do the best we can each and every day."
Since his arrival in 2024, the Frogs have seen improvement on the defensive side of the ball.
