TCU redshirt freshman Terry Shelton proving he's ready for big role at receiver
Jeremy ClarkEarlier this off-season, TCU redshirt freshman receiver Terry Shelton met with HFB to discuss how his off-season was going and being ready for his moment after the Frogs lost Eric McAlister and Joseph Manjack IV to graduation.
Last season Shelton caught three passes for 29 yards in five games last season. He had two catches for 27 yards in the win over USC in the Valero Alamo Bowl.
The 6-foot-4, 205-pounder was the class jewel for the Frogs in their 2025 recruiting class, ranked as a top 80 overall player in the nation by 247Sports and the Frogs' highest ranked signee. Along with Markis Deal, Shelton is one of the two highest-ranked signees Sonny Dykes and his staff have landed since arriving to TCU in 2021.
