TCU MBB Adds Texas Tech C Luke Bamgboye

Jamie Dixon and his staff continue to rebuild TCU's front court this offseason, earning a commitment from Texas Tech transfer C Luke Bamgboye. Bamgboye committed to the Horned Frogs after also considering Virginia.
The 6-foot-11, 220 pound sophomore from London averaged 4.5 points and 3.4 rebounds in 16.7 minutes per game for the Red Raiders in 2025-26, while also averaging more than a block per game. Bamgboye spent his freshman season at VCU, where he earned Atlantic 10 All-Conference Defensive Team and All-Rookie Team Honors, after averaging 3.8 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.1 blocks per game. Over two seasons, Bamgboye is shooting 56.3% from the floor.
