TCU Lands Nice Surprise Picking Up A Commitment from Adam Plant

TCU picked up another commit for their 2019 class on Friday as Las Vegas Bishop Gorman defensive end Adam Plant made his commitment to the Frogs. Plant announced his decision via his Twitter account.

“Man God is so good I can’t thank him enough for everything he’s blessed me and my family with and continuing to be with me no matter what, with that being said I’m honored to say I’m committed to Texas Christian University,” Plant said via his Twitter page.

The commitment comes as a big surprise to TCU fans; but this surprise is great. The 6-foot-5, 245-pounder was originally part of Arizona’s 2018 recruiting class. However, Plant never made it to Arizona and was released from his NLI. He has spent the past few months in Las Vegas training. TCU recently entered the picture thanks to Brian Hernandez, who has west coast ties.

I believe it means he did not matriculate at any school, either. That one more year of maturity should mean something.
