TCU lands Duncanville speedster Ayson Theus over many others
TCU's hot June on the recruiting trail continued on Sunday with a commitment from Duncanville speedster Ayson Theus.

TCU has been on fire on the recruiting trail in the month of June as they've added seven commitments to their 2026 recruiting class. On Sunday afternoon, they hit big again, landing Duncanville speedster Ayson Theus to the class. Theus chose the Frogs over Pittsburgh, Utah, Oregon State, Auburn, Arizona State, Nebraska and Oklahoma State among many others.
Theus becomes the 15th commitment for the class and the second receiver prospect, joining James Scott who committed last week.
The 5-foot-9, 170-pounder is ranked as the No. 80 receiver prospect in the nation and No. 66 overall prospect in Texas according to 247Sports rankings. He is ranked as the No. 104 receiver in the nation according to the composite rankings.
