TCU lands commitment from Louisiana safety Rontrae Carter

TCU got a big commitment from one of their top targets in the 2027 recruiting cycle, landing Marrero (LA) Archbishop Shaw safety Rontrae Carter on Sunday afternoon. Carter chose the Frogs over a final list that also included Houston and Mississippi State.
Carter is the 18th commitment for the Frogs' 2027 class. He is ranked as the No. 76 safety in the nation and No. 22 overall prospect in Louisiana according to the composite rankings.
