We're officially entering a new era of TCU women's basketball, and Mark Campbell's second year at the helm has a chance to be special.

The Horned Frogs were picked to finish fourth in the Big 12's preseason poll, a far stretch from finishing dead last with a 1-17 record just two seasons ago. Campbell's turnaround is almost complete, following the addition of big-time transfers Hailey Van Lith, Donovyn Hunter and Maddie Scherr to add to Maddison Conner and Sedona Prince.

Now, TCU has high expectations for themselves, and internally the team considers itself primed to be one of the best in the country, not just the conference. Health and chemistry will go a long way to that bearing out on the court, but for now, the vibes have never been higher.

Football Gods absolutely hate me. Watching TCU ineptitude on Saturdays, followed up by Dallas Cowboys similar ineptitude on Sundays is a real kick in the teeth!

TCU D last Saturday against Baylor was ridiculously bad. The Offense I thought had one of their better performances all season. Team just can't seem to put together an overall good performance by both sides of the ball at the same time, and then of course you have to throw in the Special teams adventures they seem to have each game .

Right, the offense averaged 6.63 yards per play and had zero turnovers, and scored on 6 of 9 possessions (4 TDs, 2 FGs). Hard to ever expect any better than that.

When you are helpless to stop the run and you can't turn the ball over yourself, you are absolutely screwed. And almost ALL of their yards were right up the middle. Our DTs and interior LBs were just run over, plain and simple.
